This course is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes of an individual to become competent as Auto mechanic in accordance with industry standards. Upon completion of this course the graduates will be able to work in the automobile industry where they can perform automobile mechanic services such as; overhauling power or drive train, servicing engine auxiliary system, performing spark ignition (SI) engine tune-up, performing diesel engine tune-up and performing basic auto electrical works. The course will also prepare the graduates to comply with regulatory and organizational requirements for practicing Occupational health and safety procedures.
To obtain the qualification of Automobile NC II, all modules and learning outcomes prescribed for this qualification must be achieved.
